The Catawba College choirs will present their first spring concert on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m., in Omwake-Dearborn Chapel located on the Catawba campus. The theme, “Love is in the Air,” will feature musical selections related to the love of God, country and humankind.

The Catawba choirs are under the direction of Dr. Phillip E. Burgess, Associate Chair of Music and Director of Choral/Vocal Studies.

Selections for the program include:  Richard Nance’s “Set Me as a Seal” and David Dickau’s “If Music be the Food of Love,” as well as various selections from Broadway and cinema. A special rendition of Queen’s “Somebody to Love” will be presented.
