The public is invited to attend the first of Catawba College’s Tuesday Music 515 performances for this fall at 5:15 p.m. September 13, 2005 in the Omwake Dearborn Chapel on campus. This year’s opening performance will feature a duo organ recital by Adam Ward and John Alexander.

Alexander is accompanist for the Concert Choir, and he and Ward are both currently in the doctoral program in organ at UNC Greensboro.
Other Music 515 performances scheduled this fall will include a program of Celtic music, described as “Lord of the Dance with Cello,” featuring cellists Gretchen Tracy, Don Tracy and Scott Walker, and guitarist Greg Pannell, on October 11th and the Catawba Handbell Ensemble will present “Tintinnabulation,” a program of music for handbells, on November 8th.
The Tuesday Music 515 Series is sponsored by the Catawba College Music Department, with Rosemary Kinard serving as program coordinator. It is a Concert Series spotlighting area musicians in brief programs on the second Tuesday of the month, beginning at 5:15 p.m. and lasting for approximately 30 minutes. All performances are free and open to the public.
