Hayley BollingerBusiness internships  are hard to find. Paid internships are even harder to come by. But there's something about Hayley.

Hayley Bollinger, a recent Catawba College grad, made such an impression on members of Catawba's Business Advisory Council that she landed a paid internship with the Sales and Marketing office at Trinity Oaks Retirement Community.

According to Diane Hundley, sales and marketing director at T.O., "Having Hayley with us has been an incredible experience. She has extended the reach of the marketing office and has been a joy to work with."

Pamela Thompson, chair of Catawba's Ketner School of School of Business  and facilitator of the internship, echoed those sentiments. "Haley has made a tremendous difference here at Catawba. Her leadership skills will be missed in the classroom and on the soccer field."

In 2005, Bollinger re-chartered the Pi Sigma Epsilon Business Fraternity, served as its president, and recruited the highest membership in the history of the college. She is slated to receive several high honors and awards at her graduation ceremony in June including the prestigious Millard Wilson Award for Excellence in Business.

The internship is another in a series of successful collaborative ventures between Catawba and LSA that have proven beneficial for both LSA and the private, liberal arts college located in Salisbury.
