Students Have Poems Published

The following Catawba students whose poems have been published in the latest issue of Muse & Spirit, a magazine distributed by the Center for Faith and the Arts:

  • Chris Herring of Oakboro (Theatre Arts)

  • Jaclyn Lawrence of Waxhaw (Recreational Therapy)


These students wrote poems in response to art work displayed as part of the Center's Abstraction and Beyond exhibit, including a photograph by Dr. Seth Holtzman, a philosophy professor at Catawba. Lizzle Davis was selected as one of two featured poets for the magazine.
