60th Anniversary Events
& 30
This year marks the 60th anniversary of a momentous milestone in our school’s history: the integration of Catawba College. Sixty years ago, students, families, and educators took courageous steps toward equality, unity, and opportunity for all, transforming our school into a place where diversity and inclusivity could flourish.
To commemorate this significant anniversary, we will host a series of events, including:
- Friday, March 21, 2025: Networking Social at 6pm in Tom Smith Lobby before The Alumni Panel Discussion at 7pm in Tom Smith Auditorium
- Saturday, March 22, 2025: Gala event from 6-8pm combining celebration, advocacy, and philanthropy. Featuring Dennis Reed and the America’s Got Talent music group, Sainted.
- Sunday, March 30, 2025: Joint Concert featuring Catawba College and Livingstone College gospel choirs in the Omwake-Dearborn Chapel at 4pm.

Old Armor Brewery Meet-up & Catawba Baseball Game
Join us at Old Armor Brewery in Kannapolis, NC, on March 25th, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Catch up with old friends, reminisce about your college days, and make new memories.
Right after our brewery meet-up, come to the Atrium Health Ballpark (home of the Cannon Ballers) to cheer on Catawba College Baseball as they take on Belmont Abbey at 6:00 pm.
