1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
   
   
2. Completed graduate application.
   
   
3. Submission of official transcripts from each college or university attended.
   
   
4. Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 combined hours of undergraduate or graduate coursework earned from any institution or combination of institutions prior to enrollment.
   
   
5. Three letters of recommendation.
   
   
6. A resume or CV (MBA only).
   
   
7. Essay
   MBA Applicants: A minimum 500-word essay describing your desire to pursue a graduate degree in business administration at Catawba College.
   
   CMHC Applicants: A minimum 500 word essay describing your desire to pursue a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling at Catawba College, including interest in the counseling profession, reasons for choosing Catawba College, and vision for serving culturally diverse individuals.
   
   MSPM Applicants: A minimum 500-word essay responding to the following prompts:

• • What has been your experience during your undergraduate career engaging in the business of sport?
  • Describe your desire to pursue a graduate degree in Sport Management at Catawba College?
  • What are your thoughts on sport as a vehicle for transformational change in the lives of athletes and communities? 

Graduate program applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Applications are reviewed as they are received and admissions decisions for most programs are typically made within three weeks of receipt of a completed application.
