The Catawba Black Alumni Network (CBAN) Committee

This group unites and represents the interests of black alumni and strives to empower, connect, and celebrate Catawba College's black community. CBAN's primary objectives include:

  • Connecting CBAN alumni through various social, cultural, educational, and community service events
  • Developing and sustaining the connection between the college, students, and fellow alumni
  • Providing opportunities for networking and professional development
  • Promoting and supporting general alumni contributions to the college through the Black Alumni Scholarship
  • Aiding in black student recruitment and retention
