David Kirkland serves as the Director of Help Desk and Media Services, where he leads a dedicated team supporting the technology needs of Catawba College. With a strong commitment to service excellence, David oversees the delivery of responsive and reliable IT support and solutions for faculty, staff, and students, ensuring that campus technology runs smoothly and efficiently. In his role, David also provides strategic oversight of media services, supporting classroom & meeting space technology and digital learning environments. His leadership helps integrate thoughtful solutions that enhance instruction and collaboration across campus. 

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and can often be found on the golf course.
