Dr. Gerard De Leoz is Associate Professor of Information Systems (IS) at the Mathematical and Computing Sciences Department of the Ketner School of Business at Catawba College. His extensive years of experience as an information technology (IT) professional further stimulate his teaching and research.
Dr. De Leoz’s research focuses on the investigation of synergies and impacts between IT and people in the areas of design science research, IT project team performance, and small business sustainability. He is passionate about conducting research that affords a fuller understanding of IS phenomena through multiple perspectives and diverse research methods.
Dr. De Leoz enjoys teaching in the areas of management information systems, business information technology, IT project management, applications development, systems analysis and design, network and cloud infrastructures, statistics and data analytics, business analysis, as well as IS research methods.
