The Fisher Grant endowment stipulates that a faculty development committee will invite faculty members to submit grant applications to support research and development opportunities that will improve the faculty member's teaching performance at Catawba.
This program includes funding for opportunities such as conferences, workshops, and presentations during the Spring and Summer semesters.
This grant program is designed to support the implementation of High Impact Practices (HIPs) by faculty, faculty/staff teams, academic departments, or schools at Catawba. The goal is to enhance student engagement, learning, and success by integrating HIPs into the curriculum and co-curricular activities.
Phase I of this grant program is designed to support the adoption and integration of existing Open Educational Resources (OERs) by faculty, faculty/staff teams, academic departments, or schools at Catawba. The goal is to enhance student access to high-quality educational materials, reduce the cost of textbooks and other resources, and promote innovative teaching practices using OERs.
