John has been Technical Director and Resident Lighting Designer at the Temple Theatre in Sanford, NC and at Guilford College in Greensboro. He has taught courses in stagecraft, theatrical design, and digital design.

An I.A.T.S.E. union member with a local in Roanoke, VA – John has worked on various professional live entertainment events in Las Vegas, New York, Virginia, and North Carolina. Additionally, he has worked with Theatre and Opera companies across the country including Nevada Conservatory Theatre, Opera Saratoga, The Prizery, and the Pacific Conservatory Theatre.
