What Robotics Equipment do we offer?

We have access to the following robotics equipment:

Misty Robots
Sphero Bolt

Robotics is great for learning algorithms, writing basic instructions, and seeing them executed. Both robotic platforms support the use of Block and text programming (Misty-Python and Bolt-JavaScript).

Learn More:

Open the Misty App on the iPad (or Phone) and turn on the Misty.
Locate the IP Address in the app
Access the Misty Website
In a browser, type "http://{IP address of misty}. This will open all of the commands and programming tools.
Follow the tutorial and use the coding software provided.
You can use the Command center, Blockly, or Python to code the robot.

Open the Sphero Play or Edu app on the iPad (or Phone)
Make sure the Bolt is near the device and pair the two together.
Play simple games with Sphero Play
Use touch controls to move the robot and change the LED array. Also play mini games and learn basic step programming.

OR
Write and run code with Sphero EDU
- You can go through coding tutorials or make your own code.
- An account is optional, but gives you the ability to save code and use for later.
