Virtual Reality can work in one of three ways:

1. Classroom Experience - Students come as a class to the library to have a demo and/or to use a specific app on the headset. This has to be scheduled by a faculty member.
2. Independent Experience - Students can come to the library to check out an individual headset for 2 hour use in the library. Explore apps on the headset or request any free app to be downloaded.
3. 3-Day Checkout - We have a small number of headsets that students can checkout for 3 days. Students will log into their own account to use these. These headsets are to be reserved on the Audio/Visual Checkout tab. 

Materials for academic/personal projects are free to students, faculty, and staff.

Bringing Your Own Materials
All materials you supply must be verified for safety and compatibility. If you plan to use your own materials for the Laser Engraver and Cricut, they must be safe to use with our equipment. Please talk to a DLL Student Technician if you would like to purchase your own material, and we can provide a list of vendors that have compatible materials.
