Dr. Melissa Tapp is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the teacher education department at Catawba College. Previously, she has worked in North Carolina public schools in a variety of roles. Dr. Tapp has led and collaborated on several research studies. Her research interests include increasing engagement of students with extensive support needs within school settings with a focus on communication and behavioral interventions and teacher education.
