Profile

Dr. Michael Seda has over 30 years of combined experience as an accounting professor and practitioner.  He received his Ph.D. in Business Education (Accounting Specialization) from New York University, and a D.B.A. in Accounting from Argosy University – Sarasota.  He also holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting from St. John’s University.  

Dr. Seda has held various administrative roles such as CFOR for the North Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Regional Coordinator of the Forensic and Investigative Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association, and National Audit Manager and Coordinator of Microcomputer Audit Techniques for Grant Thornton.  Dr. Seda is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
