Individual players have been recognized as finalists for various awards, including Player of the Month, Rookie of the Month, and Season awards. Additionally, rings commemorating national championships from 2020, 2023, and 2024 have arrived on campus. A celebration of these achievements and the distribution of 17 conference awards are planned.
"As the first varsity esports program in the State of North Carolina, Catawba Esports has consistently pushed the boundaries of what collegiate programs can achieve,” said Gidd Sasser, Director of Catawba’s Esports. “These milestones reflect our players and staff's hard work, talent, and dedication.
