Catawba College Assistant Professor of Special Education Receives BCBA-D® Designation

Dr. Melissa Tapp, Assistant Professor of Special Education, has received the designation of Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral® (BCBA-D®).

This is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide and oversee behavior-analytic services. Dr. Tapp embeds behavior analytic content and practices within all of her courses for the School of Education.
