
Solomon brings a wealth of experience in facilities management and capital planning within higher education. Prior to joining Catawba College, he served as the Associate Director of Planning, Construction, and Program Maintenance at Scripps College in Claremont, California, where he led numerous sustainability initiatives and campus development projects. His commitment to creating environmentally responsible and student-centered spaces has been a hallmark of his career.

Solomon is an APPA Certified Education Facilities Professional. He holds a Master of Science in Facilities Management and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Florida A&M University and is recognized for his leadership in sustainable campus development. His appointment underscores Catawba College's commitment to fostering an environment that supports academic excellence and community engagement.
