A reunion for all former Catawba College Cheerleaders is set for the weekend of November 9th and 10th. On Friday, we will host a reception followed by a buffet style dinner for everyone (families included) from 6 pm until 7 pm in the Peeler Crystal Lounge located at the Robertson College-Community Center. We will ask some of you to speak to those gathered about the "good old days" and it really promises to be a great night for everyone and a great start to the weekend.
On Saturday morning, optional campus tours will be offered at 10 am, and you and your family may wish to join the Chiefs Club in our Tribal Treats luncheon at noon in Kirkland Lobby of Goodman Gymnasium (just $5 per person, payable at the door). At 1:30 pm, our football squad will take on our long time arch rival, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, in beautiful Shuford Stadium. During halftime on the field, each of you returning will be recognized and cheered for!
We are expecting a great turnout for the weekend, but for the sake of preparation, please register by Friday, October 18th. If you need to stay overnight, we recommend the Hampton Inn (704-637-8000), the Holiday Inn (704-637-3100) or Comfort Suites (704-630-0065). Each offers a "Catawba rate" if you request it. Make your plans right away as this is a time you do not want to miss ... the 2007 Catawba College Cheerleader Reunion!
