Clear Channel Alternative WEND (106.5 The End)/Charlotte appoints Dusti Kempf '11 as Programming Asst. replacing Jessica Ray, who will now focus 100% of her time to the Total Traffic Network. Dusti will also program The End's new music show.
WEND APD/MD DZL said, "Dusti is a Music Biz major who has just graduated from Catawba College here in North Carolina. She spent her internship time in the programming department here at CC/Charlotte. We were so impressed with her work ethic, her capacity to learn and her great personality ... we decided to hire her on as a programming assistant! One of her new responsibilities will be to program the weekly New Music Indie Label Show. Dusti will be a great bridge between the day-to-day programming of WEND and the NMILS. She sits in on our music meetings weekly and has her finger on the pulse of the programming department here."
