Catawba College President Dr. Robert Knott commissioned 12 students in its Lifelong Learning program as Junior Marshals in an April 24 ceremony held in the Hurley Room of the Cannon Student Center.

These Junior Marshals were chosen from the junior class based on academic rank and are among the most honored students on campus. They embody the best of Catawba College both in academic achievement and service to the College community. They will represent the College in formal graduation week ceremonies, adding order and dignity to the proceedings.

Lifelong Learning Junior Marshals include Donna Jackson Patch, Jodie Ellen Shoe and Marissa Tizemew Trent, all of Salisbury; Connie Rinehardt Abercrombie of Concord; David Leonard Freeze, Debra Ann Hughes and Gwen A. Stidham, all of China Grove; Randy James Cress of Mt. Ulla; Pamela Chandler Pulliam of Kannapolis; Melissa Carter Beaver of Troutman; James Robert Clark of Statesville; and Elayn Thomassen Alterman of Charlotte.

Twelve Catawba College students in the Lifelong Learning program were commissioned as Junior Marshals in an April 23 ceremony held in the Hurley Room of the Cannon Student Center.
 
These Junior Marshals were chosen from the junior class based on academic rank and are among the most honored students on campus.   They embody the best of Catawba College both in academic achievement and service to the College community.   They will represent the College in formal graduation week ceremonies, adding order and dignity to the proceedings.

Lifelong Learning Junior Marshals include Semone Brisson, Christin Coble, William Gibbs, Randy J. Graham, GeoRene Jones, and Elaine Queen Potts of Salisbury; Gwen A. Stidham of China Grove; Paula Hoffman of Spencer; Robbin Meyers of Kannapolis; Jeremy Cawley   and David L. Peoples of Rockwell; and Pamela Smith of Concord.
