Catawba College has received yet another recognition during the recent spate of college and university rankings. This one comes from the 2018 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Ranking which included Catawba among the 1054 institutions that are nationally ranked.
Catawba was ranked 214th out of 326 institutions in the South region.
The WSJ/Times Higher Education College Ranking uses 15 individual performance metrics, grouped into four pillars representing Resources (30%), Engagement (20%), Outcomes (40%), and Environment (10%).
Catawba received its highest ranking in the Environment pillar, receiving scores for student inclusion, student diversity, faculty diversity and international students.
The WSJ/Times Higher Education College Ranking 2018 was published online by The Wall Street Journal at 7pm (ET) on Tuesday, September 26th.
