Dr. Amy Holmes, Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at Catawba College, presented her work at the Eastern Conference on the Teaching of Psychology (ETOP) June 24-25th in Staunton, Virginia.
Her presentation was entitled: "A (Relatively) Painless Approach to Online Psychology Course Creation" Her work focuses on how to put research into practice by presenting examples and guidelines to follow when creating online courses, and the relationship between effective online courses and student success.
