Catawba College has received a $2,000 gift from National Starch and Chemical Foundation. The funds will be used for scholarship support.
According to Catawba College President Dr. Robert Knott, scholarship support, like that provided by the recent gift from National Starch and Chemical Foundation, “is vital to the success of the majority of Catawba students.” He expressed his gratitude to the foundation for “its willingness to make a positive difference.”
National Starch and Chemical Foundation has through the years been a consistent supporter of Catawba, providing scholarship support and support for other projects, such as the Shuford Stadium renovation, the Center for the Environment facility, and the recently completed $59.5 million Campaign for Catawba.
