Catawba College is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission of the National Archives for its archives project.
According to Catawba College Library Director Dr. John Harer, the monies will be used to hire a consultant to recommend strategies for the College to adopt for its long- term preservation planning and for immediate use in stop-gap preservation of deteriorating materials in the current archives.
