Catawba College's 2006-2007 academic year is well underway and a number of students have applied and been selected to serve as resident assistants or RAs. According to Dan Sullivan, associate dean for housing and residential life, 22 students are serving as RAs in Catawba's eight residence halls this year.

These students include Shannon Axtell of Charlotte; Jaclyn Chapman of Leonardtown, Md.; Cory Darnell of Rural Hall; Justin Duncan of Raeford; Victoria Hamilton of Wake Forest; Articia Hill of Salisbury; Casey Hudgins of Stuart, Va.; David Idol of Kernersville; Matthew Jamison of Salisbury; Jackie Jenkins of Culpepper, Va.; Andrew Jones of Thomasville; Nicole Lach of Lakewood, N.J.; Tonicia Mullins of Somerset, N.J.; Derek Paschal of Summerfield; Jahuan Phillips of Salisbury; Diana Proffen of Highland, Md.; Cecilia Runge of Milford, N.J.; Ross Scallan of Greensboro; Sara Scronce of Newton; Jared Temple of Durham; Nicki Shea Vaughn of Graham; and Mario Zaldivar of Durham.

    Catawba College’s 2005-2006 academic year is well underway and a number of students have applied and been selected to serve as resident assistants or RAs.  According to Dan Sullivan, director of Housing and Residential Life, 24 students are serving as RAs in Catawba’s eight residence halls this year. 

    These students and their residence halls include: 

    Abernethy Hall – Adam Thompson, a sophomore from China Grove; Mario Zaldivar, a junior from Durham; Jared Temple, a sophomore from Durham; and Ross Scallan, a sophomore from Greensboro. 

    Barger-Zartman Hall – Sherri Hill, a junior from East Spencer and Hannah Davis, a senior from Williamsburg, Va. 

    Foil House – Diana Proffen, a junior from Highland, Md. 

    Hollifield Hall – Candace Jacobs, a sophomore from Tampa, Fla. 

    Hurley Hall – Colby Winston, a junior from Lynchburg, Va. 

    Salisbury-Rowan Hall – Taylor Bussey, a sophomore from Cary; Richard Dunbar, a sophomore from Mcleansville; Ryan Frommel, a junior from Houston, Texas; Andrew Johnson, a sophomore from Thomasville; and Daniel Fitzgerald, a senior from Seaford, Del. 

    Stanback Hall – Tiffany Cox, a junior from O’Fallon, Ill.; Will Andres, a junior from Smithfield; Summer Zuck, a senior from Kingston, Tenn.; and Jeff Smith, a senior from Newnan, Ga.
