The Catawba College Admissions Office has announced the names of students selected to serve as Ambassadors during the upcoming academic year. These students will represent the institution to prospective students and their families, provide campus tours to prospects and their families, and participate in special admissionsEvents like open houses.
New Ambassadors include freshman Mary Black of Lexington; sophomore Melissa Bartholomew of New Carlisle, Ind.; freshman Kenzie Brogden of Wilmington; sophomore Savanna Farris of Rockwell; freshman Emily Hoffman of Tampa, Fla.; freshman David Idol of Kernersville; freshman Jennifer Layton of Bridgeton, N.J.; sophomore Jillian Lincourt of Greensboro; freshman Whitney Martin of Conway, S.C.; freshman Nicholas O’Kelley of Asheboro; freshman Catherine Perocchi of Hyannis, Mass; freshman Heather Schiffhauer of Weaverville; freshman Danielle Schneider of New Castle, Del.; freshman Megan Spidell of Rockwell; freshman Dan Ryan of Westborough, Mass.; junior Colby Winston of Lynchburg, Va.; and freshman Nathan Wrights of China Grove.
Catawba College is a private, coeducational, residential college, affiliated with the United Church of Christ. Established in 1851, it is the sixth oldest institution in North Carolina and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students.
