Catawba College's American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Affiliates Chapter recently held elections and new officers were installed. They include Nathan Griffin of Boomer, N.C., president; Jessica Bound of Indian Trail, N.C., vice president; Jacob Hill of Salisbury, N.C., secretary; and Joshua Honeycutt of Richfield, N.C., treasurer.
Gamma Sigma Epsilon, Catawba's chemistry honor society, also recently installed officers. They include Sandy Ciborowski of Woodbine, Md., president; Joe Manser of Mooresville, N.C., vice president; Nathan Griffin of Boomer, N.C., secretary; and Carly Sabat of Warren, Ohio, treasurer.
Dr. Mark Sabo, chair of the Department of Chemistry at Catawba, serves as advisor to both organizations.
