An area student is among the 16 from Catawba College who will be included in the 2006 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."  The students were selected based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

Students include Julie Ann Bahr of Uniontown, Ohio; Terri Ann Boyd of Jacksonville, Vt.; Heather Lawrece Cashatt of Randleman; Sean Douglas Fox of Fort Myers, Fla.; Jeremia Devon Johnson of Lakeland, Fla.; Andrea Christine Overbeck of Jamestown; Dennis Edward Reed, Jonathan Mason Robertson and Samuel Christopher Greiner, all of Charlotte; Jeffery Lynn Smith of Newnan, Ga.; Jessica Lynn Smith of Westfield; Summer Kari Zuck of Kingston, Tenn.; Tiffany Yvonne Cox of O'Fallon, Ill.; Hannah McTighe Davis of Williamsburg, Va.; Jill A. Rhodes of Waynesboro, Pa.; Mary Frances Attea of Kenmore, N.Y.; Stephanie Louise Brendel of Drexel; Thomas Jarrod Giles of Lynchburg, Va.; Kristen Lee McCachren of Cleveland; Josephine Mae Gantt of Winston-Salem; Cristyn Nichole Harrison of Hickory; David Thomas Loudermilk of Richmond, Va.; Crystal Danielle Bonner of Yadkinville; Justin Luke Samples of Elkin; and Stephen Drew Long and Jessica Naomi Fritts, both of Lexington.
