Catawba College will host a College Fair for all Rowan County High Schools in the Peeler Crystal Lounge of the Robertson College-Community Center on Thursday, October 30th. Students from Davie and Davidson County High Schools have also been invited to attend.

More than 55 institutions, colleges and universities from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee will have admissions representatives present. Colleges and universities represented include traditional four-year schools such as Catawba, Pfeiffer University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and other community colleges, and specialty institutions for those wishing to enter the Armed Forces or obtain a culinary degree.

Rowan County High School juniors and seniors will be transported by bus from their high schools to attend the college fair from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, while any student or members of the general public may attend between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. that evening. The evening college fair will also be held in Peeler Crystal Lounge.

Rowan County parents and prospective college students are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity to learn more about institutions, colleges and universities in the region.
