Catawba College, in conjunction with The Salisbury Post and the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce, will be sponsoring a series of "Candidate Forums" this fall for Rowan County citizens. The forums, to be moderated by Dr. Michael Bitzer, associate professor of history and politics and chair of the History and Politics Department at Catawba College, will be held in Tom Smith Auditorium in Ketner Hall.

- Thursday, October 14: the Democratic and Republican candidates for the three seats on the Rowan County Board of Commissioners will be the final forum of the election season; the forum begins at 6 PM.
Citizens are encouraged to submit questions to the editor of The Salisbury Post (editor@salisburypost.com) for consideration for these three forums. Voter registration closes on Oct. 8; early voting for this fall's general election begins on Thursday, Oct. 14.
