Catawba College’s Writer-In-Residence Dr. Janice Fuller has had a poem, "For William, Who Lived Twelve Hours" from her book, Sex Education, selected as the poem of the day for November 10 by Verse Daily. The poem was posted on the website--www.versedaily.com.
Verse Daily is an independently owned daily publication of quality poetry. It republishes poems from fine literary magazines and books of poetry submitted by publishers. Fuller's poem will be archived on the website along with poems by other Verse Daily poets, including Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winners Seamus Heaney, Philip Levine, and Yusef Komunyakaa.
Fuller’s book, Sex Education, was also reviewed by Phebe Davidson, Professor of English at the University of South Carolina-Aiken, in the 10th anniversary issue of the Asheville Poetry Review. Davidson's review is entitled "Where We Are Going and Where We Have Been." Fuller’s own article-length review, "Danger's Daughter: A Review of the Bloodaxe Book of Modern Welsh Poetry," was published in the same issue of the Asheville Poetry Review.
