Dr. Sanford Silverburg, professor emeritus of political science at Catawba College, has been invited to present a paper he authored, "Pedagogy for a Globalized International Legal World," at an international conference Oct. 1-3. The International Conference on Global Legal Education is being organized by Hebron University Legal Clinic and will take place on the campus of Hebron University, Hebron, West Bank, Palestine.
After the conference, papers that were presented will be published in a collective book or in a peer-reviewed law journal.
Silverburg, a specialist in international relations and international law as well as the government and politics of the Middle East, served as a member of Catawba College’s faculty between 1970 and 2011. He has published and lectured internationally, speaking to both academic and community groups, and has broad experience with government and military affairs.
