Catawba College is ranked sixth among private colleges in N.C. as one of the 30 best value colleges and universities in the state in 2015 by Online Communications’ BestValueSchools.com.  Other privates ahead of Catawba in this rankings include Duke, Wake Forest, Davidson, Salem and Elon.

The ranking list, which was published in October, was created using National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator and PayScale data to identify the schools based on graduation rate, net price, acceptance rate and a 20-year net return on investment.

Catawba College is noted for accolades for its music and theater programs, environmental sustainability, and reputation for “grateful grads.”

Best Value Schools, which published the rankings list, helps students find schools and degree programs that can provide the most available financial aid and assistance, the greatest support and service, the highest return on investment, and the best overall value.
