Dr. Barbara Hetrick, vice president and dean of the college at Catawba College, chaired a session on "Mental Health Challenges on Campus" at the Council of Independent Colleges’ 50th Anniversary Conference in St. Petersburg, Fla., November 3-7.
For this presentation, Hetrick shared the podium with Richard Kadison, M.D., a certified child and adult psychiatrist and chief of the Mental Health Service at Harvard University. Hetrick also served as a mentor for eight new college and university chief academic officers during the several days of the meeting.
