Catawba's Chemistry Honor Society Inducts Members

Gamma Sigma Epsilon, Catawba College's chemistry honor society, recently initiated new members. The induction ceremony for the Alpha Delta Chapter took place April 24 on campus.

New members were inducted by the officers, Blake R. Rushing of Indian Trail, Grand Alchemist; Frank Villa Hernandez of Kannapolis, Keeper of the Formulas; Linda f. Castillo Murillo of China Grove, Alchemist's Apprentice; and Elizabeth J. White of Salisbury, Keeper of the Solvents. Members include Thomas Z. Benton of Salisbury; Meredith M. Brown of Statesville; Juliana V. Conte of Hampton, Ontario; Joshua R. Cummings of Faith; Kathryn S. Heidt of Salisbury; Matthew Johnathan Hodgson of Salisbury; Olivia J. Myers of Lexington; Justin M. Smith of Greensboro; and Amber Lynn Williamson of Lexington. Faculty members of the society include Drs. James M. Beard, Carol Ann Miderski and Mark S. Sabo, professors of chemistry at Catawba.
