Windows in Catawba College’s Robertson College-Community Center will be lit in blue on Saturday, April 2, 2016, in a show of support for World Autism Awareness Day.
April 2nd marks the eighth annual World Autism Awareness Day and major global landmarks will light up in blue for the commemoration. To see what global landmarks are noting this date, visit the Autism Speaks website at www.autismspeaks.org.
Additionally, World Autism Awareness Day will be commemorated on Catawba College’s website with a special homepage graphic that notes the occasion and the college’s support of it.
To align with Catawba's sustainability efforts, the lights used in the college-community center windows will be LEDs, which are more energy efficient than standard incandescent lights.
