Larry Farmer, human resources officer at Catawba College, has been elected to serve as chair-elect for the 2010-11 on the board of directors of College and University Professional Association for Human Resources Southern Region board. Farmer will assume the duties of chair for that board on July 1, 2011.
The Southern Region of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources in a professional association that serves member institutions and human resource professionals with development opportunities and technical assistance for the effective management of humans resources. It includes the states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Farmer makes his home in Landis with wife Beth.
