Catawba College's Dr. Edith Bolick has accepted a promotion from associate dean of the College for Lifelong Learning to dean of the School of Evening and Graduate Studies.
A professor of sociology, Bolick is a graduate of Catawba College and earned her master's degree and Ph.D. in solciology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since 1985, she has served the College as a faculty member, chair of the sociology department, associate dean of the College and acting dean of the College. She has also taught classes at Livingstone College for several years.
