Catawba College, in conjunction with The Salisbury Post and the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting a Candidate Forum for the candidates vying in the Salisbury City Council election from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 in Tom Smith Auditorium. Dr. Michael Bitzer, associate professor of politics & history, will serve as moderator of the forum. All nine candidates running in this year's election have confirmed their participation.
This is the 10th forum that has been jointly sponsored by the three aforementioned groups as a public service to the Salisbury and Rowan community.
