Fourteen students enrolled in Catawba College’s School of Evening and Graduate Studies were commissioned for service as Junior Marshals in a ceremony held Saturday, April 14, in the Hurley Room on campus.

These Junior Marshals will assist College Marshal David Pulliam during Catawba’s upcoming Commencement Weekend activities, assuring that order and dignity are observed during formal occasions at the college, including convocations, baccalaureate and commencement.  They were chosen from the junior class based on academic rank and are among the most honored students on campus.  They embody the best ofCatawbaCollegeboth in academic achievement and service to the College community.

The newly commissioned SEGS Junior Marshals include Brandy Baumbarger of Matthews; Lee A. Bronson of Salisbury; Tamyra Castille of Charlotte; Argelene Dunn of Charlotte; Shawna F. Harper of Concord; Justin Hewit of Huntersville; Rhonda Hogeland of Denton; Monica N. Iraheta-Alberto of Charlotte; Juanice L. Love of Mooresville; Barbara Maxwell of Charlotte; Ashley May of Monroe; Sean McGary of Charlotte; Angela N. Mortenson of Salisbury; and Yekaterina Yudzitski of Monroe.
