Seventeen Catawba College seniors, all pursuing academic majors in the Ketner School of Business, were inducted into the Business Honor Society during a March 4 ceremony held at the Cloninger Guest House on campus.
Membership in this scholastic honor society is open to all senior majors in the fields of accounting, economics, information systems, management and marketing who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2. The Business Honor Society seeks to develop character and understanding, and to stimulate scholarship and service in the community.
Inductees include Nicholas Angelo Alfieri of Salisbury; Mayra Isabel Arroyo of Kannapolis; Kelsey Elise Babos of Uniontown, Ohio; Christopher Stephen Beal of Goldston; Chelsea Michele Binder of Woodstock, Md.; Patrik Sven Drakes of Sollentuna, Sweden; Grant Alexander Gibson of Owen Sound, Ontario; Neil Emmanuel Gonsalves of Davidson; Kevin Donald Hamaker of Beaufort, S.C.; Tyler Mack Held of Virginia Beach, Va.; Timothy Grant Livengood of Salisbury; Mai Zoua Lo of Newton; Thomas Alan Readling of Salisbury; Timothy James Readling of Salisbury; Eric Stearns Schmehl of Shamong, N.J.; Vang Neng Thao of Salisbury; and Maggie Lynn Tregoning of Henrico, N.C.
