Six new directors were recently added to the Catawba College Chiefs Club Board, bringing the membership on the board to a total of 30 for the 2013 year.
New directors in the Class of 2015 who were tapped for service include Leonard Robbins of China Grove; Brian Pritchard of Salisbury; Gordon Kirkland '70 of Clemmons; Trent Bradshaw '95 of Salisbury; Stephanie Walden Gault '03 of Terrell; and Rori Godsey '07 of Salisbury. They join other directors in this class including Bill Hall '66, Darrel Parks '69, Cheryl Peevy and Dick Smith '56.
Directors in the Class of 2014 include Don Clement IV, Chip Comadoll, Bucky Cline, Joe Crapster '87, Jackie Harris, Harrison Latimer, John Lewis '59, John Munday '78, Stuart Smith '77 and Bob Setzer '73. Directors in the Class of 2013 include Gary Blabon '91, Floyd Burton, Roy Campbell, Jim Duncan, Charlie Graeber '90, John Graham '62, John Hartpence '64, David Patterson '72, David VanAken '89 and Holly Stump '98.
Dr. Jim Duncan will serve as President and Joe Crapster '87 will serve as Vice President.
The 2013 Chiefs Club drive begins June 1. The new venture for the Chiefs Club this year is the launch of the Catawba Kids Club. The Kids Club is for kids 12 and under. Kids who are members will receive a t-shirt, an invitation to a Meet The Team session and admission to athleticsEvents with a friend. Membership to the Catawba Kids Club is $25 annually.
