
Sixteen Catawba College students, all 2011 summer interns through the Lilly Center for Vocation and Values will make presentations about "My Summer of Service" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 in the Tom Smith Auditorium of Ketner Hall on campus.
The students, thanks to funding provided through the Lilly Center, served in positions with a total of 18 different nonprofit organizations over the summer. Students will share highlights from their experiences and will entertain questions from the audience during the Sept. 15 event.

- Rachel Abbatiello of Midland – Kids Plus of Cabarrus County and the N.C. Summer Institute in Choral Art ;
