Catawba College professor of politics and political expert Dr. J. Michael Bitzer was featured in a recent WSOC-TV segment regarding privacy concerns surrounding the use of smartphone apps in Presidential campaigns.
Bitzer said the app is effective and important for Obama's campaign, the only one using an app this advanced so far.
"It will probably be widely used as cellphone technology, smartphone technology continues to advance," Bitzer said.
