Political Science Professor Michael Bitzer recently spoke to Eyewitness News anchor Erica Bryant about Charlotte's chance of hosting the National Democratic Convention. Charlotte, Cleveland, Minneapolis and St. Louis are in the running to host the 2012 Democratic National Convention. The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority said the Queen City is an ideal choice because of its infrastructure, convention space and airport.
