Pillar Days at Catawba College
Catawba College's Pillar Days are special days that bring to life the values at the heart of our institution —Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service.
Rooted in our guiding ideal, Scholarship with Character and Culture for Service, these Pillar Days invite the campus community to pause, reflect, and actively engage with what it means to live a life of purpose and responsibility.
Together, these days affirm our belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every person; the transformative power of intellectual curiosity and reasoned learning; the richness of learning in community and across difference; and the role of personal formation in cultivating wisdom and self-knowledge. Above all, our Pillar Days call us to our shared responsibility—and joy—in caring for one another and for a sustainable world where all can thrive.
Our Pillar Days
