REACH Catawba
REACH Catawba (Recreation and Educational Adventures Challenging Highschoolers) is a FREE outdoor leadership and science program focused on transforming the educational landscape for high school students.
Our mission is to inspire and empower high school students through immersive, hands-on experiences in the great outdoors.
With a commitment to inclusivity, we strive to bridge gaps in representation by focusing on students who identify as female or gender nonconforming, students of color, students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, and other groups underrepresented in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
As a Catawba College program, REACH Catawba also aims to promote the pillars of Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service by breaking down barriers, fostering curiosity, and shaping the next generation of diverse leaders in STEM fields through unique experiences in the outdoors.
