Revonda Propst Reed

Revonda brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, healthcare, and municipal government. Previously, she served as Assistant Vice President and Director for Human Resources at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she provided executive oversight of HR operations, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and onboarding, and also served as Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Her career also includes leadership roles with the City of Winston-Salem, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, and Winston-Salem State University.

Throughout her career, Revonda has demonstrated a strong commitment to people-centered leadership, organizational effectiveness, and aligning human resources practices with institutional mission and strategy. Her expertise includes employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, benefits and compensation administration, policy development, compliance, and leadership coaching. She holds a Master of Science in Human Resources from North Carolina A&T State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Winston-Salem State University, and she maintains the SHRM-SCP credential.

Revonda is a Salisbury native and a graduate of Salisbury High School. She returned to Salisbury in 2023 after spending most of her professional career in Winston-Salem, NC.
