Profile

Dr. Richard K. Blume II serves as Marketing Executive in Residence at the Ketner School of Business.  Blume is an experienced senior executive with extensive commercial and management experience, including international commerce. He served as the commercial leader for Nucor Corporation, a Fortune 150 company with $24 billion in revenue. Blume holds forty-two years of experience in the steel industry. His board experience includes Board Chairman for American Iron and Steel Institute’s - Steel Market Development Institute and Steel Technologies, a leading North American steel processor. Rick represented the US steel industry at the International Trade Commission and testified in other congressional and governmental forums.

Rick holds a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University, Ohio and an M.B.A. from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Blume earned a D.B.A. from Gardner-Webb University.
